Opportunities pilot terms
Combinado · version opp-pilot-conditions-v0.1-2026-10-29 · effective 2026-10-29
These terms govern the free Combinado Opportunities pilot. Part A is for people who post a request. Part B is for participating professionals. How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
Who we are. Combinado is a service of Starthrop Dynamics, Unipessoal Lda., tax number (NIPC) 519488261, registered office Rua da Sociedade, n.º 4, 2695-567 São João da Talha, Portugal. Contact: support@starthrop.com.
Part A · For people posting a request
1. What this pilot is. A free test that connects people who need a service (cleaning, ironing, gardening, painting and more) with professionals who use Combinado. For now it covers Greater Lisbon only and includes invited professionals only. You don’t need to install anything or create an account, and posting costs nothing. Requests are posted at pedido.starthrop.com.
2. Age. You must be at least 18 to post a request. When you post, you confirm that you are 18 or over.
3. How it works.
- You fill in your request, review it and post it.
- Participating professionals who offer that service in that municipality see the request without your name, phone number, email or address.
- If a professional wants to talk to you, they unlock your contact details. Up to 3 professionals can do so.
- You agree on the service, the price, any prior visit and the payment directly with them.
4. Your management link. At the end you get a link. Keep it, because it is how you access your request. With it you can:
- see the status and how many professionals unlocked your contact details;
- correct what is allowed;
- mark the request as resolved;
- cancel it;
- delete your data.
If you lose it and gave an email, you can ask for a new link on the request page, and the old one stops working. Don’t share this link: anyone who has it can manage your request.
5. How long a request is visible. Up to 7 days, or until the end of the day you chose, if that comes first. It stops accepting new contacts once 3 professionals have unlocked it, or when you mark it as resolved or cancel it.
6. Who sees your data.
- Up to 3 participating professionals may see your name, phone number, full address and email (if given), to contact you about this request.
- Professionals may not share your contact details with anyone else, sell them or use them for other purposes.
- Cancelling the request or deleting your data stops new access, but it does not erase what professionals have already seen. You can ask them directly to delete your contact details, and these terms require them to do so.
- Starthrop deletes your contact details 30 days after the request ends, or as soon as you delete them with your management link.
- If you want to know which professionals unlocked your contact details, ask us.
Everything else is in the privacy policy.
7. What Starthrop does not do. Starthrop does not:
- hire the professional;
- act as an employer or an agency;
- set or suggest prices;
- take payment for the service;
- guarantee that anyone will reply, that the service will be booked or carried out, or that your request will go to one professional only.
It does not vet professionals beyond inviting them to the pilot, and it does not verify your phone number. The agreement for the service is only between you and the professional.
8. What we ask of you.
- Post only real needs, for yourself or with the permission of the person or household concerned.
- Give true details and a phone number where you can be reached.
- Don’t put phone numbers, emails, links, your address, health data or other sensitive data in the description. The form rejects contact details and links.
- Don’t post illegal, offensive or discriminatory requests, or requests meant to collect professionals’ contact details.
- Don’t post the same request several times.
We may refuse, suspend or remove a request that breaks these rules or is reported as abusive, and block new posts from that phone number or address.
If we suspend your request, we tell you why on the management link and, if you gave an email, by email too: the reason, the facts we relied on, whether it is under these terms or because the content is illegal, the measure taken and how long it lasts. A person makes the decision, not automated means. We don’t tell you who reported the request. If you disagree, write to support@starthrop.com quoting the reference we give you, within 6 months: a person will review the decision and reply. If we agree with you, the request goes live again until it ends. You can also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body or the courts.
9. Reporting a request. Anyone can report a request that is illegal, abusive or posted with someone else’s details without permission, by writing to support@starthrop.com with the request and the reason. We review the report and reply.
10. The pilot may change or end. This is a test: its rules, area and settings may change, and the pilot may end. A request that has already been posted keeps the terms it was posted under. If the pilot ends, active requests stop receiving contacts, and data follows the periods in the privacy policy.
11. Liability. We are responsible for running the pilot and for handling your data, under Portuguese law. We are not responsible for what does not depend on us: what you agree with the professional, the service they do or don’t carry out, payments between you, and any use a professional makes of your contact details in breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, death or personal injury.
12. Your rights, governing law and disputes. These terms do not limit your legal rights, including your data protection rights. For questions, to delete your data or to make a complaint, write to support@starthrop.com. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD). Portuguese law applies; if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live and may go to the courts where you live. In Portugal, you can also use a consumer arbitration centre and the electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt.
Part B · For participating professionals
1. Who can take part. You take part if Starthrop invites you, adds you to the pilot list and you accept these terms in the app. You need a free Combinado account; you don’t need the subscription. These terms add to the Combinado Terms of use, which continue to govern the app and your account.
2. Age. You must be at least 18. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you are 18 or over.
3. Free test credits.
- When you accept these terms you get 5 free test credits, once.
- Each unlock uses 1 credit. Opening contact details you already unlocked doesn’t use another.
- Credits have no monetary value: they can’t be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and they give no right to a refund.
- Test credits do not convert into paid credits, if paid credits ever exist.
- If an unlock fails because of a technical error on our side (for example, a credit is used but the contact details don’t appear), the credit is returned automatically.
- We don’t return a credit because the client didn’t answer, changed their mind or chose someone else.
- When your credits run out, you can ask for more in the app, free of charge. The team reviews each request and may or may not grant it.
- End of the pilot. The pilot ends on the date we announce, with at least 30 days’ notice, in the app and by email. On that day, any free test credits you haven’t used expire. They give no right to money or to paid credits, and there is nothing to pay. After the end, no new contacts can be unlocked.
4. What an unlock gives you, and what it doesn’t.
- It gives you: the name, phone number, full address and email (if given) of the person who posted the request, so you can contact them about it.
- It doesn’t give you: a guaranteed job, reply, agreement or exclusivity (up to 3 professionals can unlock the same request). Nor does it guarantee that the details are correct, because we don’t verify phone numbers.
5. Your duties with the contact details. From the moment you unlock contact details, you are responsible for how you use them, under data protection law.
- Use them only to respond to this request: to propose, agree on and carry out the service.
- Don’t share the contact details with anyone, including colleagues. Don’t sell, pass on or publish them, and don’t add them to lists, groups or campaigns.
- Don’t use them for advertising or other services.
- If the person says no, or asks you to delete their details, stop and delete them.
- Keep them safe and delete them when you no longer need them, unless the person becomes your client. In that case, the data you record in Combinado is yours, like that of your other clients.
- If the person who posted the request asks us who unlocked their contact details, we will tell them the name you use in the app.
6. Conduct.
- Be honest about what you do.
- Don’t ask for unreasonable upfront payments.
- Don’t harass anyone or keep insisting after a no.
- Don’t post fake requests to test the system.
7. Reports. If the contact details are invalid, or the request is abusive or not real, report it in the app. The team reviews it and may:
- suspend the request;
- block new posts from the same phone number or address;
- return your credit as a courtesy.
8. When the terms change. The pilot terms may change. If they do, we show you a dedicated notice in the app, with a link to the new version. Until you accept the new version, you can’t unlock new contact details or see again in the app the ones you already unlocked. If you don’t want to accept it, you can leave the pilot. The pilot settings (credits, number of professionals, area, categories) are for testing only. They are not prices or terms for a paid launch. Paid credits, if they ever exist, will come only with new terms that you will need to accept.
9. Leaving and suspension.
- You can leave the pilot at any time by writing to support@starthrop.com. Leaving the pilot doesn’t affect your account or the data you record in Combinado. The duties in section 5 still apply to contact details you already unlocked.
- If you don’t follow these terms, or there are well-founded reports, we may suspend you or remove you from the pilot. We’ll tell you why, unless the law or other people’s safety prevents it.
10. Your data. How we handle your professional data (profile, acceptance of these terms, credits, unlocks, notifications, reports) is in the privacy policy.
11. Liability, law and disputes. Sections 11 (Liability) and 14 (Governing law and disputes) of the Combinado Terms of use apply. We are not responsible for any use you make of contact details in breach of these terms, or for agreements and payments between you and the person who posted the request.
12. Contact. support@starthrop.com. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights.
