The short version: as at the last check — 2 August 2026 — this site used no cookies. We use no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, and that is why we do not show you any consent notice.
01What we checked
This is not a statement of intent — it was technically verified on the live site on 2 August 2026. The page delivered to your browser was confirmed to have no:
- cookies — none at all, first-party or third-party;
- browser storage (localStorage or sessionStorage);
- third-party scripts of any kind;
- tracking pixels;
- CAPTCHA;
- external fonts — the site uses the fonts already on your own system;
- audience analytics service running in the browser.
Every resource on the page — images and icons — is served from the starthrop.com domain itself. No request is made to any third-party domain.
02Why we do not show you a cookie notice
Prior consent is required when a site stores information on your device, or accesses information stored there, beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the page you asked for.
Since we neither store nor read anything on your device, there is nothing to consent to. Showing you a notice would be asking permission for something that does not happen.
03Technical hosting logs
There is one thing that does happen, as on any website: in order to deliver the pages to you, the hosting service technically processes each request to the server, which involves data such as the IP address, the date and time and the browser type.
These are not cookies and leave nothing on your device. They are described in the Privacy Policy.
04If this changes
If we ever start using cookies, analytics or any similar technology that is not strictly necessary:
- nothing will load before you choose;
- consent will be requested specifically, in an informed way, and through a positive action;
- refusing will be as easy as accepting, and you will be able to change your mind at any time;
- this policy will be revised, with a new version and date, before the change takes effect.
